Scrapheap Adventure Ride 2014
This year the Scrapheap Adventure ride is heading to Nymboida in northern NSW for the September 19-21 weekend and it’s looking for your support. To date the Scrappers have raised more than $220,000 for Down Syndrome NSW by challenging entrants to spend no more than $1000 on obtaining and preparing bikes they ride to the event.
The 2014 Scrapheap destination is the 50-acre Nymboida Canoe Centre camping ground on the banks of the Goolang creek that provides cabins and camping facilities. It’s a popular spot for white-water rafting.
The event which is always a magnet for classic bikes, promises heaps of fun for riders and families over the weekend with a range of activities and ride-outs as well as a charity auction.
If you’re up for the challenge you can support the Scrapheap Adventure Ride by signing up as a competitor and getting started on preparing your bike, or by sponsoring entrants, or simply by donating to this worthy cause in support of Down Syndrome kids in NSW.
