The Melbourne Showgrounds will play host to the 2014 MOTO EXPO on November 28-30. The result of a new longterm partnership between The Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) and Troy Bayliss Events, it will be on a similar scale to its debut MOTO EXPO event held in Brisbane in March.
“We are excited to be bringing MOTO EXPO to Melbourne,” event organiser Troy Bayliss said. “The feedback from Brisbane was very positive and we look forward to delivering another market-leading motorcycle exhibition that will showcase the industry in the best way possible.
“The Melbourne Showgrounds provide the perfect location with the major exhibition halls and outdoor entertainment areas, all joined to ensure both the visitors and exhibitors can enjoy the show,” he said.
Organisers claim the show’s new-bike display will be Australia’s largest. They also highlight event features including a ‘Come and Try Zone’ where juniors will be able to learn from expert coaches, a 3000sqm hall devoted to a display of vintage, custom, classic and performance motorcycles and a ‘Custom Garage’ offering enthusiasts the chance to learn modification tips and expertise.
The event’s host, threetime World Superbike Champion, Troy Bayliss will be demonstrating his riding skills, along with a strong line-up of other top Aussie riders.
Also included will be a large clearance sale area featuring equipment and apparel.
